Jack has finally decided to sleep though the night! I hope I am not jinxing myself by posting this. One thing that has helped him is his rainforest musical toy in his crib.
About two weeks ago, I woke up one night to the sounds of therainforest music playing and Jack laughing.
"Did you turn it on?" I asked my husband.
"Nope".
He somehow learned how to turn it on by waving his arms around until he "hits" the on button. I laid there for a few minutes until the music stopped to check on Jack. There he was laying on his side fast asleep.
This has now become his middle of the night ritual.
Hey whatever works, right?

I am visiting from New Friend Friday.
Congrats on the full night's sleep. Do you monitor stalk like I do? My lil' gal is almost 3, but I still wake up from time to time and listen to the monitor static!
I totally monitor stalk. If I don't hear enough noise I have to go check on him...it's become an obsession!
how stinkin' cute! :)
Yup! You'll find that a lot as he gets older. :)
Oh, and PS LOVE those jammies!
Oh my word! I just LOVE that he learned to do this! How exciting is that? : ) I am visiting via Kelly's enjoying the small things blog. I always like to say hi to a few people that comment above me there. I love that blog : )
And I LOVE that your baby is sleeping thru the night. Good luck!

my oldest daughter had this spider that sang the ABC's. a friend gave it to me. and then it ended up working so well she gave me another when i had my youngest daughter. now i can tell you that by the time they both learned to go to sleep on their own i wanted to choke the life from that spider. and the battery NEVER RAN OUT. but hey it worked.

Congratulations on sleeping through the night! It is wonderful, isn't it? I was blessed with a baby that did this early on, but now I am afraid with teething we are going back to the wakeful nights. =( Bummer!
I love the Rainforest soother...it is such a blessing!
Jack is so, so cute - and I agree with your latest post - I do wish that I more time with Henry (he's 6 1/2 months old now - close to Jack's age, yes?) but I enjoy working, too. And I just LOVE this stage - and I'll probably say that about every stage!
We have that same soother, and he had that elephant sleeper as a newborn, I loved it!!
