 I'm very excited about today's giveaway, because it features one of my all-time favorite skincare products!
I love Olay products.  I have been using Olay products regularly for years.  I've always heard good things about Olay products and started using them in my mid 20's, But when I discovered Olay Regenerist, particularly the Micro-Sculpting Cream, I fell in love. This cream is velvety-smooth and moisture-rich, but it never feels heavy on your skin.  It is a fantastic product for the price, and I see and feel the improvements it makes in my skin every day.

Olay also has a new eye care product in the Regenerist line too....the Micro-Sculpting Eye Cream and Lash Serum Duo. This is a dual-ended tube with the eye cream on one side, and a clear lash serum on the other side (you apply it with a mascara-style brush.) I started using this a few weeks ago when I received a sample in the mail and I like this as well. The eye cream is a lot lighter in weight than my usual eye cream, and it has the same luxurious, velvety texture that the skin cream does.

Being a teacher, I am always reading up on new ideas in education.  I am always interested in what other schools or states are doing and what is new or up-and-coming in the are of education. Because of this I can imagine that I will "that crazy mom" that other teachers talk about, asking every question to Jack's teachers. But what stood out to me as the biggest difference between traditional public schools and the Success Academies is the extensive time, energy, and funds that go into educating the adults in the building. They believe that success starts with the adults and there are high expectations placed on teachers. There is also constant support, training, and feedback. Their professional development system includes things like the Cycle of Teacher Improvement and T School, a four week teacher training program.  These things, I believe, really help with teacher morale and making teachers feel like they can be successful and that they matter.

No Name Meat review and giveaway....

If you are a regular reader, you know that I am always looking for simple, no fuss, great tasting meals to make on those working nights.  Well along came No Name Meats......

Over thirty-five years ago, in a small neighborhood butcher shop, a local butcher began selling delicious, hand-cut steaks. These steaks cooked up tender and juicy and, as rumor had it, tasted incredible. Word began to spread. When his customers asked the butcher what these steaks were called, he simply replied, “They don’t have a name.” Soon, people were coming from miles around to get the steaks with “No Name,” and a legend was born.

One of my favorite stores to do my grocery shopping is Jewel.  Every time I shop there I see No Name products in the meat freezer section, but I have never tried them.  Recently my husband and I had the opportunity to try two products from the No Name brand: No Name Steaks – Petite Cut and and No Name Superb & Simple – Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breasts.

We have not had the Steaks, but we make the  Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast last night. They were delicious and went well with broccoli cheddar rice and a salad.   For $6.99 we were able to get two Parmesan Crusted Chicken breasts which were so easy to heat and serve.  I will definitely will be buying these again; especially for those days I come home form work and am not in the mood to cook.
