Cry Baby

No, not him....
Me.

Before I had Jack, I was a crier.  I cried during sad movies, Hallmark commercials, certain country songs, or if I was having a bad day.  I never imagined I would be a million times worse once I had Jack. When he was born I cried becuase of the hormomes, and he was so perfect and new and little and I never wanted him to grow up.

Now it seems I cry over something everyday.  I cry before I sleep at night sometimes because I wish he was cuddling next to me instead of in his crib. I cry when I rock him before bed because he is getting bigger and bigger, and is almost too big for me to hold him like a baby.  I cried Friday at our school's Spelling Bee because the parents next to me were SO proud of their son that won, and I imagined how proud I would be for Jack.

Sometimes I look at him while playing and cry, thinking, " I will never have this moment or day again, he is getting older and older by the minute".

Am I the only "cry baby" out there or are some of you criers like me?  Will it ever end, or am I doomed to a lifetime of tears and heartache???  Some imornings I wake up and it seems like Jack has "grown up" over night!

Life does fly by.  Enjoy it.

Enjoy it like Jack enjoys his wagon.  He loves it!!!

Seriously, what is cuter than a baby's smile?  I can't think of anything.

I'm totally the same way!!! I can't sing certain lullaby's to him anymore because I can't make it to the end without crying. I get all emotional when people tell me "oh my.. he's gotten so big" - I just want him to stay my little baby forever :(

If it makes you feel any better, I teared up reading this post. :) You're absolutely right, life does fly by. The way I see it, we must really be enjoying and cherishing it to become so emotional thinking about it. Life is good, indeed.

I am the exact same way... I cry because I am happy that my little man did something for the first time. I cry because my sisters little girl graduated from kindergarden and I thought how it would be when my little man would and how PROUD I would be... I cry if I hear about someone hurting a child and I cry because I feel like that when he is old and I am older that he will be to old to be with his cry baby mother and I also cry because I cant wait until hes grown that he gives me grand babies. I think its just a mother thing. Because I think back to my own mother and I remember her always crying when she was happy, sad, proud mad, WHATEVER she just would cry because sometimes thats all you can do.

Life is flying by insanely fast though. It seems like my little guy was just born and now he's already 2! Enjoy it!

Stopping by from SITS to welcome you!

Oh girl - you are NOT alone!! I have a Baby Jack also - well not exactly a baby anymore, he'll be 1 in July - and I cry all the time! I don't think the tears will ever stop coming. Your Jack is adorable. Stopped by from New Friend Friday.
